The PS Concert Enclosures are high-quality two/three-way speaker enclosures suitable for small to medium venues. Several enclosures feature a stand mount adapter and high frequency power limiter protection, while every PS Concert Enclosure features a 2" Titanium driver on a Constant Directivity (CD) horn, heavy duty woofers, two Speakon ® jacks and two 1/4" input jacks. The 3-way PS-1200C has a horn-loaded heavy duty 8" cone midrange driver as well. Speakon ® connectors are recognized as the standard for professional installations, assuring a secure, permanent connection that won’t corrode, vibrate loose or be as easily tampered with as 1/4" phone plugs. While the 1/4" jacks are convenient, use of the Speakon ® connector is recommended when using power amplifiers over 150 watts, for permanent installations, or for the "first" speaker among a number of daisy chained speakers. The Speakon ® and 1/4" jacks are all wired together in parallel with each other, allowing easy daisy chaining from one cabinet to another. Any of the jacks may be used as an input or a through connection. The PS Concert Enclosures each have an impedance of 8 ohms – up to four cabinets could be powered by one amplifier, if the amp is rated for 2 ohm operation.
